Indiana bald eagle recovery huge success from PhysOrg.com
Indiana environmental experts say the Hoosier State is now home to 200 of the nation's bald eagles, just 21 years after they were considered nearly extinct. I have been spending early mornings watching the Bald Eagles fishing in the Whitewater River which is only about 7 blocks from my house. I have seen a male and female pair fishing together and a few juveniles. I bundle to the point of swaddle and tote along a coffee and start my day watching Eagles. I took this picture this morning.
